You must learn how to receive from His river to hear the pure, life giving word!
How The Holy Spirit Teaches
We as a ministry, have been shown that the main reason all the other unrighteous beliefs exist within the church begins with the lack of knowledge in “how The Holy Spirit Teaches”. Most churches have neglected The Holy Spirit, acknowledging that He exists but denying His Power (2 Timothy 3:5). Jesus made it clear that He had left us His Comforter to speak to us. Part of His Power as our Living God is to speak to us in real time. We serve The Living God, not a dead one and He has a river of life which flows from The Kingdom of Heaven to us. A statue is dead, thus when you pray to a statue there is no response. The Living God gives His response after your prayer, you have just forgotten how to hear, you have forgotten the language in which He speaks to us. Indeed, learning to hear God in the various ways His Spirit speaks to us is like having to learn a new language. The language He speaks is nothing new but actually, just forgotten.
Our Heavenly Father speaks to us through dreams, visions and even giving us His Living Word through His Voice which reveal the mysteries of scripture. Nothing is more biblical than this fact I have just given you. Go through the various men and women written of in scripture and recognize that each one of them spoke with Him and received His Living Voice both in the old testament and the new. It was so common for Yahushua’s disciples to interact with the Kingdom of Heaven and His Angel’s that when Peter returns from prison and knocks on the door of Mary’s house, where a group of the disciples were, no one believed it was Peter who had returned: “You are out of your mind… it must be his angel” (Acts 12:15) was their response. It was easier for them all to believe that it was an angel knocking on the door and that this was more likely, than to believe that it was Peter himself. This simply proves that Yahushua interacts with us in many forms, including through angels. From Adam and Eve meeting with The Lord in the morning, all the way through scriptures like Noah, Abraham, Moses (including Aaron, Meriam and all the men and women in the tribes Mosses trained up), Joshua, Samuel, Ruth, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel… (I would have to list most of the biblical names here to get them all but I hope you get the point), all the way through to the book of Acts, then John experiencing The Kingdom of Heaven and being given the scriptures we now call “the book of revelation”. Everyoneheard from God, this was the norm throughout the ages, not the exception! These dreams, visions and words He gives us come down The River of Life.
I have personally seen the river of life which flows from the throne of Yahushua. In October of 2022, I was in a pool sitting underneath a waterfall, just having a deeper moment with my Creator. I was in prayer because I had gone into a time of “back sliding” returning to an old addiction. I did not have the strength in me, in my flesh to overcome it and in this moment, I cried out to Him asking for His help. I sat there, feeling the water fall over me, picturing myself having His love come over me like a flood. As I did this a vision opened up before me and I saw a set of stone stairs leading up to Yahushua sitting on His Throne. His throne was beautiful and made of what appeared to be wood. As I cried to Him for help, it was like a judgment was made from Him on my behalf and He used a part of His armrest, lifting it and slamming it back down like a judges gavel. The sound of this gavel’s knock rang out in my ears and resonated in my heart as though something BIG had just happened. As soon as He did this, the stone step directly under His Throne slides open like a garage door and out came a flood of water… The River of Life! I saw this river come charging toward me and upon me and then, in the physical, the waterfall that I was under which had only been a light waterfall (like a bathroom shower), supernaturally increased and overcame me, consuming me. There was so much water that I was seeing both in spirit and now experiencing in the physical, that I could not breath. But, I did not care, I sat under this for as long as I could bare, not wanting this moment with King Yahushua to end. His Government for His Corporate Body (church) comes down The River of Life. The Things of The Spirit flow down The River of Life. This is how He is the Head over the church, through the things of His Spirit, He rules and reigns each one of us, individually and corporately.
How The Holy Spirit Teaches:
Dreams are a forgotten language. When one has a dream, it is often given by Him to us as a parable. Things in the dream symbolically represent something else in the physical. It is given this way so that only those with eyes to see and ears to hear may understand. Just like when Jesus walked this earth, He spoke in parables and only those who had eyes to see and ears to hear understood. He is the same God today that He was then. When one dreams, it should be recorded and journaled. Collect each dream like a puzzle piece to fit it together later for a grander picture. After a dream is journaled, one can pray and reflect on it. Sometimes there is a little revelation given, sometimes not. Sometimes a little revelation is given in one dream, and then another little revelation is given in another dream. These two little revelations, now put together, reveal a bigger revelation as pieces of His picture are put together like a puzzle. These spiritual things are given “line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little” (Isaiah 28: 9-11) and will confirm things in your life, in His timing, as you walk it all out. This is part of what is meant when scripture says we are to walk by faith (following after spiritual things) and not by sight (carnal leadings).
To walk like this takes practice but there is no condemnation in getting things wrong when you are just learning (Romans 8:1-4). Walking after the spirit is counted as righteousness unto you, it is counted as a walk of faith. It requires faith to have a dream, receive the revelation of that dream, and walk out the confirmation of what you had seen in the dream, confirming it in the physical. I often ask believers “how will you know if God is trying to talk to you, trying to get you to move? What if you had a dream showing you that you needed to pick up all you had and move your self, your wife and your new born son to Egypt because persecution was coming… would you have the faith to do it?” (See Joseph and what he and Mary had the faith to do in Mathew 2:13 based on a dream). Let me give an example of how Yahushua gives us protection through dreams, just like He did for Joseph:
I had two dreams where I was seeing the metal sidingof my house on fire. These were two quick scenes in the night that I had a few days apart. The second time I had this scene, I was beginning to get really concerned:
10-15-2025 Dream I was in the basement of my home when I saw a piece of metal siding from my house on the sink in the kitchen. I saw that there was fire and a lot of smoke coming out, black smoke!
I awoke from this dream very alarmed and asked Yahushua for revelation, only to receive no answer. I figured He was going to reveal at a later time, so I went back to sleep. The very next day, my neighbour came by for a coffee and while I was at the kitchen sink (like in the dream) my neighbour began to give me advice: “Hey, make sure you clean out your wood stove chimney at least once a year! Creosote which is created by all that black smoke, can build up and cause a fire. My friend had a chimney which caught fire and melted the siding of his house!” And there it was, the revelation of my dream. God protects me and my house because I listen to Him. I was under the impression that my chimney could never catch fire and as long as I clean it out every five years or so, I would be fine. I did not grow up with woodstoves and this was only our second winter living in our new home on Maccabee Mountain. Our home is heated totally by a wood stove and I had been using wet wood and some softwoods to light my fire. So what did I know? Apparently not much because I was misinformed and I would have continued warming my house with the wood stove for another year, without cleaning out the chimney, risking fire to my home. Thankfully, The Lord gave me the scene where I was seeing black smoke coming out of the metal siding of my home. When I saw metal on fire it made no sense to me but when my neighbour explained that his friends siding caught fire, I realized The Lord was painting a picture of the danger I am in if I do not clean out my chimney. That is how He put the dream together with the physical to teach me something I did not know. Needless to say I got a chimney cleaning kit and got to work immediately. Thank you Jesus!
The disciples of Jesus were just that, “disciples” which is simply another word for “students”. You must become a student of Christ, more specifically, of His Holy Spirit. Here is an example from scripture of Peter walking in faith according to what he received in the Spirit:
Acts 10:9-48 (summarized by me) Peter is sitting on a roof in prayer and falls into a “trance” (Trance is the word most translations use) and he receives a vision. This vision is of unclean animals set out before him and Peter hears the Voice of God, inviting him to “come and eat”. Peter rejects this at first, proclaiming that he would do no such thing as eat something God has declared unclean but Peter does not yet have the revelation of what God will reveal to him later. The revelation is this: Yahushua’s Blood has cleansed all things thus, what was once called unclean can now be cleansed. Peter, not yet knowing this truth, gets down from the roof at the direction of The Holy Spirit: “Behold, three men are waiting for you, arise therefore and go meet with them, doubting nothing, for I have sent them”. Next: Cornelius (a Gentile who is considered unclean because he is not a Jew) comes and meets with Peter inviting him into his house. Up until the death of our Messiah, it was considered unlawful for a Jew to eat with a Gentile; this was considered unclean. But after receiving two things of the spirit (the vision on the roof top and what The Holy Spirit spoke “come and eat” then “go and meet” with the 3 men) Peter now receives the revelation about Yahushua’s Blood cleansing all things. Peter put the things of the spirit together with the physical confirmation and understood that no longer shall Jew and Gentile be separated, no longer shall Gentile be left out of The Kingdom of Heaven. What powerful revelation that changed the course of our faith. What a powerful revelation that Peter could have missed, if he had rejected the Voice of God and the leading of His Spirit!
And this is how The Holy Spirit teaches us. I’ll give you another simple example of how I have learned to listen and trust in His Voice through the things of the spirit:
I moved my family to northern Canada because of a prophetic dream The Lord gave me back in 2014. I waited many years for the promise of this dream to come to fruition:
06-08-2014 Dream I had been living in the wilderness but I had come back from the wilderness into the city. I knew that I had been living on a piece of land near Sudbury and that I had bought this land with a friend for food and security reasons. Overhead was a giant bridge (kind of like I have seen in downtown Toronto). The atmosphere was apocalyptic. There were a maze of bus stop type units everywhere. Instead of where the bus ad goes behind the glass, there were movies or trailers for movies playing. There was a movie with Sylvester Stallone and it was “Judge Dredd”, but the movie also had a “Terminator” feel to it. The movie was in 3D and this was a big deal, I think because it was the newest kind of 3D technology yet. There were other movies also coming out in 3D during this time. Then I am told that we are going to have 11 years of economic meltdown…
I had this dream in 2014 and excitedly, I began searching for plots of land up north (Sudbury being a 4 hour drive from where I was living at the time). I searched for this land for weeks, which turned to months, which turned to years, waiting for The Lord to give me the “sign” to move. It was not until 2019 that my wife had a dream that a very specific house on our street would go up for sale and when we see this, it would be our sign that it was time to go. It was one year later from her dream in 2020 that this very house from her dream, which had never gone up for sale before, went up for sale! So in faith, we sold everything we had in the city and looked north to buy our promised land. We had waited 7 years from the initial dream before the time came to move.
By this time, the plandemic was in full swing. We searched for our promised land and there were bidding wars on every property worth buying. At first, because the dream had prophesied that I would move near a city called Sudbury, this is where my search began. But at this time, nothing of great interest was coming up and as I mentioned, anything that looked good was bought up within a day of posting. Now being homeless, I began to get desperate and broadened my search to far away places including neighbouring provinces. Eventually, I found this one property right near Sudbury and I thought “this must be it! Just like my dream prophesied!” but it was way out of my reach financially, so I continued my search. About a month later, I had a dream where I saw the property that I was to buy:
I was seeing this large hill from an aerial view. The colours were beautiful as it was fall and all the leaves were deep reds and yellow. It was like I was seeing this flying overhead and as I came over top of the hill, there was a gorgeous lake on the other side. End dream.
Shortly after this, I happened to come across the property in Sudbury that I mentioned earlier (the one that was too expensive) except now, the price had dropped considerably. I clicked on the images and now a new video had been added to the sales profile. I clicked on the video to see drone footage of a large beautiful hill, with trees coloured in red and yellow, coming over into view of a lake… just like I saw in my dream! I knew this was it and so I put in an offer that was considerably lower than the already lowered price, and it was mine! Not only was it mine, but a brother in Christ who was looking to start this same kind of adventure with me was also part of the purchase; fulfilling the other prophetic clue in the original dream.
So I bought this bush property with not so much as a driveway in it. I had a blank slate to work with and was tasked with figuring out how I was going to build a home on this piece of wilderness heaven. One of the things we had decided was to not take out a mortgage to do this, as this home was going to be completely custom, built to our liking and without any government or bank infringement. After all, it is not wise to borrow money or you will become a slave to your lender (Proverb 22:7). After searching out many contractors and home builders, I realized that the cost was too great and I was not going to be able to fund this build unless I did everything myself. I have never built a house nor did I ever explore a career in construction, so my knowledge of home building was limited. But since this was all by The Lord’s leading, time after time He would send me helpers exactly when I would be in need. Men that I would randomly meet who were experts at their trade, would come help for a bit or teach me how to do what needed to get done, all for free.
One last example of how The Holy Spirit can teach and lead is from the time I was building my home. After pouring the concrete basement foundation, we had built the floor over it (picture a 28’x32’ deck). Then we began the exterior wall framing on top of the deck. We got to the north wall, we framed it, nailed plywood to it, and lifted it into place. After nailing the frame down to the floor, I noticed that the second half of the wall was not sitting flush with the floor. The bottom part of the wall was floating over top of the floor on a pivot point, for the last twelve feet or so. None of us could understand why this was happening, what had caused this pivot point? After many attempts of trying to get the last part of the wall to sit flush on the floor securely, we could not correct this and gave up. I was being told by those helping me that perhaps it is not a big deal, it is only floating up by less than an inch and will likely sit on its own once the roof weighs it down. I was also told perhaps we could just slide a steel shim underneath it? Instead of taking the wall apart and figuring out what is wrong with it, I was being given poor advice of just pushing on and ignoring the problem. This was advice I wanted to take because this would be the easy route. I lifted this question up to The Lord and asked Him what He says and I heard “tare it down”. I did not want to do this after so much hard work and costly materials so I decided to sleep on it. Then I had the following thing of the spirit:
06-12-2024 Dream-I was looking under the piece of wood (floor joist) that was holding up the wall (the part that was floating in the physical). I was looking under the floating wall and there was this garbage under the wood joists, bags of garbage I could see under the floor. End.
The next day, as per the leading of this dream, I went to look under the wall. I tore down the wall we had framed, unscrewed the plywood and lifted it up to see under the floor boards. Sure enough, after looking underneath what had been covered up, there was garbage! Not physical garbage, but garbage workmanship. After putting the floor joist up, we had not properly secured it to the sill plate (which is part of the foundation) and so, it was just standing there, holding up the floor above with the weight of the floor and a few nails being the only thing holding it in place. Because of this, it began to shift and move and caused a pivot point in the wall we had framed above of it. Yahushua saved my life through a leading of The Holy Spirit. Had I listened to the advice of my own flesh and those around me (carnal thoughts), it would have led to a structural failure of the home in the future. But because I follow after The Holy Spirit and have learned to listen to my dreams, the matter was corrected and today I have a beautiful, well built fortress of a home. This was one example of correction but there were actually a few dreams that led to me correcting how I built the house. Yes, The Holy Spirit actually taught me how to build my house, Halleluyah! The Holy Spirit has been my guide during the whole process of the construction of my home and has saved me from disaster on more occasions then I’d like to admit. This level of leading deals more so with protections, His protections, which increase with deeper level covenant with Him. I will go over more of that in a later chapter.
One can see how trusting in His Spirit by recording and meditating on your dreams, can bring miraculous results in your every day life. Here is the process in which I use (others may find similar variations better for them according to their own situations): During the night, when Yahushua gives me a dream, His Spirit always wakes me up after the dream. I then reach over in the dark to grab my phone and I record the dream on a voice recording app, recalling every single little detail I can remember like: colours, where someone is positioned, the location, feelings, smells etc (any detail may bring greater revelation later.) I then fall back asleep and when I awake in the morning, I type up any dream I had that night into a computer document (I use Libreoffice which is free to download but MS Word or whatever program suits you is fine). I then keep a running electronic document for the year of every dream, vision, revelation or word that The Lord gives. Some people find it more suiting to write all of this down in a hand written journal. The only issue I have found with that method is later, when you have accumulated many things from His Spirit, it will be hard to search up a specific word or dream, having to go through a whole book or two or ten. With an electronic document, one can simply search up a specific word and find that word throughout their document, instantly locating a thing of the spirit.
When the time arises and dreams come to fruition, I pull that dream from my records/journal and create what we call a “flowchart”. That is simply to say that I take the things of the spirit that relate to what had happened in the physical and I put it together like puzzle pieces which formulate a testimony that one can read, glean from and even add to in the future. Just like Peter did when he was sitting on the roof top to what I did regarding the purchase of my property and building my home, one begins to walk by faith in the things His Spirit reveals and not by sight in the leadings of this world. We learn to “flow” with The Lord in His River, which is why we call it a flow-chart. As you get good at this, because all things take time and practice, you learn to build your own testimony in what Yahushua, the King of Glory has done and revealed in your life. This entire website is essentially our ecclesiastical flowchart.
I will give one pro tip here: I often find that many Christians who track their dreams often begin to pick and choose “which dreams are from God” and which are not. They base this decision on how good a dream feels or how fantastical it was, choosing to disregard other dreams that may seem scary or insignificant. I can tell you this: when God first began to clean me up, I was having many demonic dreams. I realized that seeing these demons in my dreams, was simply God exposing that which can now be cast out (aka Deliverance!). Also, I have had many incidences where a dream seemed so small and insignificant that I almost disregarded it. These dreams had often turned out to be huge and timely, just what I needed for that time. My point is, record all your dreams and let God sort them out, not your carnal opinions.
His Truth through our testimony is what carries His Power and Authority and it has helped change lives. It has helped non believers come to Christ. It is helped me remember who I am in Him in times of struggle and tribulation. Every one of my articles that I have written are detailed in this way; by leadings and teachings from The Holy Spirit. Yahushua is our Teacher, our Rabbi and as The Living God does unto me, so shall He do unto you.
